Share Calendar
and Addressbook data
Process Software WebMail Groupware combines the ability to share Address-book and Calendar Items/Tasks among groups of users with optional permission levels (Read/Write and Read-Only).
WebMail Groupware contains three Address-book types:
Global
This is a group of Address-book entries representing every account on your WebMail system. If you are providing public email services, the Global Address-book can be disabled via the WebAdmin control panel. The Global Address-book is useful to an organization of any size.
Personal
The Personal Address-book allows users to separate personal contacts from Global and Shared contacts. These contacts can only be viewed by the individual user-account.
Shared
The Shared Address-book is similar to the Personal Address-book, with the additional functionality of sharing contacts with other users (or groups of users). Shared contacts can be assigned read/write permissions; enabling the users with whom the contacts are shared to modify the contact entries directly. Optionally, read-only access can be granted to allow the entry to be viewed by selected users, but can only be modified by the original owner.
WebMail Groupware Calendar:
The Calendar functionality of WebMail Groupware allows users to assign
tasks to one another and set appointments (reminders). Permission level settings
are provided, enabling the owner of a task to enable or restrict the recipients'
ability to modify the task. A calendar has three views: daily, weekly, and
monthly. The Calendar supports event reminders with a visual notification
on the Web-interface for appointments pending or overdue.
The Web-based Calendar and address-book can be synchronized to a desktop client running Outlook 2000/2003.

Process Software WebMail allow users to send and receive secure email messages. WebMail provides an easy-to-use interface to secure email encryption, utilizing industry-standard OpenPGP format to encrypt messages using 512 - 4096 bit encryption. WebMail includes the ability to sign outgoing messages, allowing the recipient to verify the authenticity of an email.
WebMail PGP features:
WebMail is an RFC2440-compliant application, utilizing a non-proprietary method for encrypting email using strong public key cryptography. The OpenPGP protocol defines standard formats for encrypted messages, signatures, and for exchanging public keys.
Users can generate a PGP key via the WebMail interface, with a choice of key sizes ranging from 512- to 4096-bit.
All encryption, decryption, and message signing is provided within the WebMail Interface.
To send an encrypted secure email message, all the user needs is the recipient's public key (stored in the WebMail address-book ). When composing an email message the user can encrypt the content with the recipient’s public key, ensuring that the message can only be decrypted by the intended recipient, even if intercepted.
WebMail provides users the option of sending their public key on outgoing secure email messages. It also provides the ability to update a contact's address-book with the PGP public-key.
Message signing is available via the encryption menu when composing an email message. This allows the recipient to check the authenticity of an email message (verify that the message was sent using your account, and not forged).
There are many security concerns with SMTP - primarily that messages are sent and stored in plain text. The solution is to send messages in encrypted form, rendering ineffective any interception and accounting for the possibility of poor physical security at endpoints. Process Software WebMail utilizes 512- to 4096-bit (military grade) encryption for sending messages.
WebMail uses the open-source GnuPG utility to provide the PGP functionality. This utility is supported by most Linux distributions and Unix variants, as well as Windows Operating Systems.
During installation, WebMail checks the default installation directory for the GnuPG binary (gpg). This path can be changed via the WebAdmin Interface.
