Q. Why does my TCPware system not get the correct IP address changed in DNS, even after rebooting to make sure it was not in the DNS cache?

A. TCPware will, by default, resolve names from the TCPWARE:HOSTS file before DNS. Edit TCPWARE:HOSTS. to change the entry to reflect the new IP address. Then restart the DNS resolver:

$ NETCU STOP/DNS

$ @TCPWARE:STARTUP_RESOLVER DETACH
