Logicals & Commands: Commands don't work after re-boot

Q.TCPware installed fine and was working correctly. Now after a reboot the TCPware commands (i.e. TELNET, NETCU, FTP) run the UCX utilities instead.

A.This is because TCPware's commands are set up as symbols by the file TCPWARE:TCPWARE_COMMANDS.COM and this procedure has not been executed by the current process. We suggest that this be added to the system wide login command procedure (by default sys$manager:sylogin.com) This is pointed out in the 'Preparing for Startup' chapter for the Installation and Configuration Guide.
