Obtaining Filter Updates and Providing Feedback
DNS blacklist support (SMTP proxy standalone version only) and Envelope MAIL FROM: address verification features were made available on June 8, 2005 in an eco which can be downloaded from our FTP site. This eco increments PreciseMail's version number from V2.2 to V2.2-1. Contact our technical support department to obtain access to this enhancement and other rule updates at (800) 394-8700, (508) 628-5074 or support@process.com.
As part of the PreciseMail Anti-Spam Gateway software subscription, we offer the following services:
- E-mail Notification of Updates (PMAS-Announce)- Process Software updates the anti-spam rules on a regular basis to stay ahead of new spamming techniques. We will notify you via e-mail when new rules and kits are available. You may then download and implement new rules at your own discretion from our FTP site or if you have chosen the automatic rule set update (v2.1-1 patch required), no action is required. Process Software will automatically add a designated person(s) at your company to the e-mail list at the time you place your order. To add or remove names from this list anytime during the subscription period, send a request to info@process.com
- E-Mail Discussion on Rules (PMAS-Rules)- You can join this e-mail list to discuss the filters themselves with other customers and Process Software engineers and technical support representatives. You are not automatically signed up for this mail list. In order to participate, send a request to info@process.com and include your name, company, and e-mail address.
- General Discussion Mail List (Info-PMAS) - Anyone can subscribe themselves to this mail list for general discussions relating to PreciseMail Anti-Spam Gateway. To subscribe, send a mail message to: Info-PMAS-Request@process.com . The message should contain exactly one line, the command: SUBSCRIBE.
