Obtaining Filter Updates and Providing Feedback

As part of the PreciseMail Anti-Spam Gateway software subscription, we offer the following services:

  • E-mail Notification of Releases (PMAS-Announce) — Process Software issues PMAS-related announcements via this list. Process Software will automatically add a designated person(s) at your company to the e-mail list at the time you place your order. To add or remove names from this list anytime during the subscription period, send a request to info@process.com
  • E-mail Notification of Updates (PMAS-Rules-Announce) — Process Software updates the anti-spam rules on a regular basis to stay ahead of new spamming techniques. We will notify you via e-mail when new rules and kits are available. You may then download and implement new rules at your own discretion from our FTP site or if you have chosen the automatic rule set update (v2.1-1 patch required), no action is required. To subscribe, send a mail message to: PMAS-Rules-Announce@lists.process.com. The message should contain exactly one line, the command: SUBSCRIBE.

  • E-Mail Discussion on Rules (PMAS-Rules) — You can join this e-mail list to discuss the filters themselves with other customers and Process Software engineers and technical support representatives. You are not automatically signed up for this mail list. In order to participate, send a request to info@process.com and include your name, company, and e-mail address.
  • General Discussion Mail List (Info-PMAS) — Anyone can subscribe themselves to this mail list for general discussions relating to PreciseMail Anti-Spam Gateway. To subscribe, send a mail message to: Info-PMAS-Request@lists.process.com . The message should contain exactly one line, the command: SUBSCRIBE.


To report spam messages that PMAS didn't catch, or to report false positives, please mail the message(s) to Report-Spam@lists.process.com. It is important to include all the original mail headers and the unmodified body for each message.
