After you upgrade the Tru64 UNIX operating system, perform the following steps:

1. Remove sendmail symbolic links.
2. Replace sendmail with /pmdf/bin/sendmail.
3. Kill all non-PMDF sendmail processes.
4. Start the PMDF Job Controller and PMDF Service Dispatcher.
