Spyware Scanner uses ActiveX technology to scan your computer for spyware, adware and other malware quickly and effectively. Spyware Scanner relies on the same detection engine that powers our award-winning anti-spyware product, SpyCatcher.

The first time you run Spyware Scanner, you will see a Microsoft Security Warning message similar to Fig. 1 below. It will notify you that this is a certified ActiveX application, essentially meaning that it is safe to accept. To install, simply right-click on the toolbar that appears at the top of the browser window and click 'Install ActiveX Control...' If you are not using Windows XP Service Pack 2, you will receive a pop-up warning similar to Fig. 2 instead - in this instance click 'Yes' to accept the download.
