MultiNet®, and TCPware® TCP/IP networking software for OpenVMS, are used by industry, government, non-profit organizations, educational institutions and other types of organizations around the world. Because of their widespread use and our commitment to provide our mutual customers the best overall networking environment possible, we have developed the Partners in Process Software Partners Independent Software Vendors (ISV) Program.

Who should participate and what are the advantages?
Any software developer who provides software for OpenVMS that will run over TCP/IP should participate in this program. This includes RDBMS, financial, engineering, human resources, manufacturing, application development etc. companies who write their application/system level software or programing tools for the OpenVMS (VAX or Alpha) platform.

What's in it for you?
Quite a bit. How about some free marketing for starts? Here are some of the benefits:

A free copy (as part of your ISV kit) of the Process Software ISV Developers tool kit. This includes all of the programming interfaces that you need to run your application with MultiNet and TCPware.

A free entry into the TCPware and MultiNet ISV Partners web page. We will set up hypertext links into your web site so that anyone surfing our site can get to yours with the click of a button.

We will inform our customers about compatibility. Your product and company will be listed as an ISV partner in our internal sales database, readily accessible to our sales team as they are communicating with our customers. We will let our customers know that your application supports our software.

Focus of the ISV Program
The success of the ISV Program is premised on two simple objectives.

1. To provide our (that's ours and your) mutual customers and prospects with the ability to use TCPware and MultiNet while still being able to use the application software that they have grown to rely on.

2. To maintain compatibility of MultiNet and TCPware with each of our Partners' software packages and to communicate this information to our respective field engineers/technicians and sales representatives who in turn communicate this to their prospects and current customers.

Achieving these objectives would ensure the smooth flow of information from one platform to another and eliminate unnecessary extra work and frustration on the part of the customer. The result is a happy customer who keeps buying from you and recommends your products to others.

What do you have to do?
The requirements for the program are straightforward. They are as follows:

A. Fill out the Process Software Partners ISV Program Registration form.

B. When we receive your completed registration form we will contact you regarding the details on getting your ISV Kit (includes all of the necessary media and documentation used for testing).

C. Test your OpenVMS software with TCPware or MultiNet and certify compatibility.

What does Process Software want in return?
Quite simply, we are doing this as a way to communicate to our customers and potential customers that TCPware and MultiNet can be run with your software. What we ask in return is that you:

Include us in your literature and product documentation as a tested and compatible OpenVMS TCP/IP solution, if applicable.

Provide us with a contact within your organization who can answer customers technical questions.
