Open TRANSL8 is a powerful data translation utility that solves many of
the most difficult problems associated with moving and translating data
and files between VMS and UNIX environments. Open TRANSL8 automatically
converts text and binary data AND replicates file organization, when given
a description of the data format. The result is full and easy access to
data between VAX and UNIX systems. Users can easily move files between
environments and keep them in usable form.
Open INTEGR8 is a file access system that allows data sharing between incompatible
computers on a network. With Open INTEGR8, users can run their application
on the most appropriate computer and access data on another computer even
if the two systems are binary incompatible. Open INTEGR8 provides true
interoperability because data is shared between computers with binary data
conversion performed on the fly. By keeping data resident on one system,
problems of data duplication and synchronization are eliminated. Open Acceler8
and Open INTEGR8 run on Ethernet networks which use either TCP/IP or DECnet
transmission protocols.

NMServer for OpenVMS is an SNMP Agent designed
to run on Compaq VAX and Alpha systems which allows these
computers to be monitored and managed remotely by SNMP Network
Managers. NMServer monitors important performance and resource
utilization criteria including what processes are running,
disk utilization, system errors, and CPU load statistics.
It reports this information to the SNMP Manager when polled
and sends traps (alarms) to notify the Manager of critical
