Process Software realizes the important factors in bringing quality products to market. One of the most important resources we have is our dedicated workforce. Our Engineering Department comprises one of these groups - representing nearly 50% of our employees. We'd like to introduce you to one of our engineers who is presently playing a key role in the future development of Process Software TCP/IP products: Hunter Goatley

Hunter Goatley, Principal Software Engineer at Process Software for the past four years, has a long history developing software for the OpenVMS environment. Goatley was one of the cofounders of MadGoat Software, a company focused on quality freeware for OpenVMS.

In the 80's, during his college days at Western Kentucky University, Goatley began writing freeware and distributing it, primarily through the DECUS contributors' library. In 1992, Goatley hooked up with a fellow OpenVMS developer, Matt Madison, and they decided to combine their OpenVMS software into a cooperative offering - thus the name MadGoat Software.

Goatley spent 5 years at Western Kentucky University as Computer Science Systems Manager before joining Process Software. During his tenure at Western, he became well known and respected throughout the OpenVMS community. Goatley became very familiar to VMS users through his involvement with MadGoat and speaking at several DECUS events.

At Process, Goatley has been responsible for leading the development efforts on the past four releases of MultiNet. Goatley currently works full-time for Process Software out of his home in western Kentucky where he lives with his wife and three daughters.

MadGoat Freeware is available from the MadGoat Web site at http://www.madgoat.com.
